Log out and log back in. You'll have the option of changing it. I expect to see Mr. Wilson. [:

Too big, and I've got bills to pay. I really did enjoy it, but frankly, I don't go to lift hills enough to warrant owning it, so something smaller, and more versatile, is in order.

Yep, seems like the right bike. If I hate it, sell it to some PB grom, and save for a 6.6 SS.

I am pretty stuck. Covert's too steep, and too tall. I'd like to get a little more into the trick scene, as I love tricks on my BMX, so the low TT is appealing.

Yeah, I want sub 6, and over 4.5. Syren? To be honest, I'm really not that stoked for it. I know it's the same as the bottle rocket, but has a shorter TT, but I'm not a small guy, 6'2", so I feel the bottle rocket fits me better.

GT is URT, no thanks. Jamis uses the same design with less travel. Ellsworth is too expensive, as is Santa cruz. I have about 1600 to build it, need to buy the frame, and a few other things.

Well, I was looking at the Foes in shop, but it's about a grand more, with parts that are toast, like the shock, the BB, and the pivots. Mike Gooch previously owned it, if you know him, you'll understand why I said it. http://thebikezone.com/ Go to THE SHOP. That's the brands we carry.

Gotta stay in store brands. The Hectik wasn't too bad, but it just feels wonky to me. My friend has a slightly upgraded Hectik 2, and I've ridden it at Blue. And that rhymed. I'm trying to steer away from the 'rocket as it's not horst link, but I rode a preproduction and liked it.

i am going to buy a frame next year once i have enough money i am saving up to 7000 so thats my limit in money and for freeride it would be big hips, big gaps that type of stuff and still be able to do dh good i would problay by next year weigh at least 150 pounds

Ask Hummer about the structural integrity of cracked CF. He should be able to shed some light on how much your fork will take now.

Well, good luck on that. I'm not sure if I'd personally trust the structural integrity of my fork to clear nail polish, but it's your head I guess. If I had a DH fork lying around to give you, I would, but I don't so I can't....try Hummer.

Have you looked into that $500 05 Dorado new from price point? That might be a good option for you. There would be no okward getting used to a different feeling fork time and it's reletively cheap especially for a new fork.

If you check out my ride, I rarely sit down anyways
Not sure how it is only recommended for XC use though, an XC rider puts waaay more stress on a saddle than a DH rider, or someone riding urban... Plus we have big squishy suspension to absorb impacts.

It should be pretty easy to find a back stocked 07 888 RC2X WC if you wanted a good Marzo. It's gonna be a wait for the new Dorado though, what's to be run for a temporary gravity assisted fun fest? Hell, if you get the Boxxer, you could ask Hummer to put in a good word for you at Push.

That sucks major ass. I actually pretty much killed my front brake last saturday going DH. I want to replace it with Avid, but the Elixer is supposedly better than the 7 and cheaper too...it's not out yet though. Oh well, I managed to forget leg protection and just happened to go onto a paved access road WAY, WAY, too fast and ended up sliding about 60-70 feet on pavement with bare skin. My left leg is pretty much dead for now.
Anyways, it sucks the Dorado is dead, you thinking Boxxer, 40, 888, new Dorado, Travis, BOS, what?
